March 31st

Sorry I didn't get to update this yesterday. We got home really late. First, we went to Five Guys, which is a burger place. Jess and I both got a 'little bacon cheeseburger'. And with all the orders of burgers, each one came with fries, so we had probably about 1 lb. of delicious freshly fried fries. We didn't eat them all. Then, my brother took us to McChord AirForce Base. That was really cool. I can't show you a lot of pictures, for security reasons. When we went to the lockers with all the guys stuff, there was a little baby bird who looked like he'd fallen out of his nest, and he was cute. Then we went to see the fighter planes from the 1930'sish to the 1989ish. Those were really cool. There were some really huge ones! Then we went to the beach by the ocean in Gig Harbor, and collected lots of shells and rocks with barnacales. When we got farther down the beach, John lifted up a big rock, and under it were probably 100s of fiddler crabs! John, Jess and I all picked up sticks and tried to pick them up, or tried to make the crabs do "pull-ups" by putting the stick into their claws. After that, we went for a scenery ride. Then, we went to the town in Gig Harbor and went to an art gallery, and then to a place a lot like The Met, but in the back there was a pottery shop. I wanted to make something, but mom said no, because we had to get back home sometime! Then we went home and had dinner, wrestled, and then went to bad at around 10:00 o'clock here. These are some pictures.

This plane was a C-141. It had huge wheels!
This is a A-10 which is an air-to-ground plane. And it's also a fighter-jet.
Gig harbor is the name of the city on the shore of Pierce County, WA, and the name of a Bay on Puget Sound. Some poeple say that Gig Harbor is one of "The Gateway to the Olyimpic Peninsula". In 1840, Captain Charles Wilkes brought in a small boat called a Captain Gig, which is a small boat, into the harbor for protection. Gig Harbor was officially incorporated on July 12th, 1946. Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gig_Harbor,_Washington for more information!
You can go to google and google
Gig Harbor to find out some good history in it. That's what I did, and there's to much info to write here!
